This workshop will consider different methods of student engagement--case studies, Flip, Quizlet, and Kahoot – and how they transformed my English class into an active, hands-on learning environment, resulting in higher success rates on quizzes and exams. In addition, opportunities for developing highly valued personal and social skills will be presented through the design of a new learning process focused on collaboration, critical thinking, communication, and creativity in the classroom and beyond.
