Dear Staff Member,
As you may recall, in April a new University policy came into effect, according to which the corporate e-mail boxes are intended for work purposes only. Accordingly, we announced that the mailboxes will be closed upon retirement – for administrative and technical staff and for academic staff not active in research.
We are pleased to announce that considering your requests to allow the continued use of the mailboxes even after retirement – the Employee Committee and the Human Resources Division, along with the Technologies, Innovation and Digital Division, have made a joint effort and managed to find a technological solution that will allow you to continue using your corporate e-mail inbox!
Administrative and technical staff members who retire by June 2025 will be able to continue using the email box (of course permission to enter the University systems will be revoked).
For those who retire after June 2025, the corporate email boxes will be closed, except for retirees active in research.
