Whichit was selected amongst 42 other startups to take part in the Pitch@Palace Boot Camp, at Imperial College London. The judges had a difficult decision selecting 15 companies that would actually progress to pitch at St James’s Palace in front of The Duke of York.

At the main event took place at the St James´s Palace in London. With guests that included 300 business leaders, celebrities, CEOs and mentors, Whichit was crowned as the winner of Pitch@Palace 4.0 People´s Choice Award.

Whichit was awarded the Innovate UK Smart funding award!

Whichit has been awarded £246,426 in funding from the UK’s innovation agency, Innovate UK as part of SMART 2015 scheme competition. The competition is aimed at SMEs carrying out R&D, which offers potentially significant rewards and could stimulate UK economic growth.

Whichit is the winner of Facebook Startup of the Year EMEA 2015!

FbStart Apps of the Year were selected from thousands of entries, narrowed down to the top five apps within the FbStart program. Apps were evaluated by a panel of experts in mobile development from within Facebook and the greater startup community. Entries were judged on four key properties: growth and engagement; expertise and design; efficiency at scale; and leveraging the Facebook platform. Whichit performed exceptionally well in all four areas and was ultimately chosen as the best app from EMEA.

Businesses are using Whichit as a powerful marketing tool that helps brands engage with prospective customers in a whole new way. Not only does the app improve engagement within social media communities, but the real-time nature of Whichit provides a much more immediate path to conversion. As the user gains consensus and feedback from peers, Whichit enables users to purchase via the app either in the form of coupons or by linking directly to product pages.
