שלושה בוגרי אפקה נפלו בקרבות "חרבות ברזל", אביתר, ליאור ועקיבא. שלושתם בחודש אחד, במרחק כשבוע זה מזה -"עוד זה מדבר וזה בא". אביתר הוותיק מבין השלושה, ליאור הבוגר בתחילת דרכו ועקיבא שרק סיים את הלימודים וחיכה לקבל את התואר בטקס המתקרב. שלושה סיפורי גבורה של לוחמים, גיבורים שחיים ביננו, שעזבו את ביתם, נשותיהם, ילדיהם, משפחתם, עבודתם ויצאו חדורי אמונה באהבת המדינה והעם - שעמדו לנגד עיניהם. לזכרם – דברי ההספד של בני המשפחות והחברים של אביתר, ליאור ועקיבא מצורפים בתגובות מפאת הגבלת תווים של לינקדאין. הדברים נאמרו היום בטקס יום הזיכרון, שערכה אגודת הסטודנטים באפקה. הטקס הוקדש לכל הנופלים, סטודנטים ובוגרים, בהשתתפות בני משפחות הנופלים. 🥀רס"ן (במיל') אביתר כהן ז"ל בוגר הנדסה מכנית, מחזור 2010 מכפר סבא, קצין הדרכה בגדוד 8111 שבחטיבה 5. אביתר נפל בכ"ז בכסלו התשפ"ד (10.12.23) בקרב ברצועת עזה, בן 42 בנופלו. 🥀סרן (במיל') ליאור סיון ז"ל בוגר הנדסה מכנית, מחזור 2022 מבית שמש, קצין לוחם בגדוד 363, חטיבת ׳הראל׳. ליאור נפל בז' בטבת התשפ"ד (19 בדצמבר 2023) בקרב בדרום רצועת עזה, בן 32 בנופלו. 🥀רב סמל מתקדם (במיל') עקיבא יסינסקי ז"ל בוגר הנדסה מכנית, מחזור 2023-24. מרמת גן, לוחם בגדוד ההנדסה 8173, חטיבת 'עציוני'. עקיבא נפל בכ"ז בטבת התשפ"ד ( 8.1.24) באסון במחנה הפליטים אל-בורייג' שבמרכז רצועת עזה, בן 35 בנופלו. 🕯יהי זכרם ברוך

מכללת אפקה, רבותיי Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering מי שמכיר אותי בשנים האחרונות יודע שאני מאוד פעילה במסגרת פעילות הבוגרים של מכללת אפקה בשנים האחרונות Dganit Citrin Bar-On האלופה מרכזת את פעילות הבוגרים, Afeka College ALUMNI ודואגת לקשר מאוד מיוחד שנרקם בין בוגרי המכללה, הסטודנטים, הסגל ומתעניינים חדשים בלימודים. בין הפעילויות שנוצרות- חניכת סטודנטים בפרויקטי גמר (בשילוב מחלקת פרויקטים), השתתפות כשופטים בתערוכת פרויקטי גמר, תוכניות מנטורינג, התנדבויות בקהילה ושלל פעילויות העשרה לבוגרים ויש מצב שפספסתי כמה 🫣 (בקרוב-תוכנית חדשה יוצאת לדרך, תעקבו!!!!) הפעילות הכי אהובה עליי היא השתתפות ביום הפתוח. מפעם לפעם הקמפוס מתפתח, נראה טוב יותר, נעים יותר, חכם יותר. הזדמנות מיוחדת להחזיר קצת אהבה למקום שהיווה את הבסיס למהנדסת שאני היום. היום השתתפתי בפאנל בוגרים, ואיזה בוגריייייםםםםם (ובוגרות, כמובן) יש לנו! איזה בני אדם מדהימים, איזה חכמים, איזה מיוחדים והמועמדים שהגיעו? אני מקנאה בהם על 4 השנים הקרובות שהם הולכים לחוות! מאחלת להם המון הצלחה!
